Circuit Imaging is developing direct imaging systems capable of imaging PC boards faster than anything currently on the market. The throughput of our imaging systems is also scalable with additional power. In addition to the high-throughput, our patented technology includes entry level models that enable film based PCB manufacturing companies to upgrade to direct imaging.
Each machine will be an IoT device running Windows 10 IoT Core and connected to Microsoft Azure, enabling real-time monitoring and analytics to provide predictive maintenance and auto-repair functionality with each machine leveraging Azure IoT and Business Intelligence.
Finally, with "circuit boards at the speed of light," our system includes patented high-speed board handling processes controlled by the Windows 10 IoT Core system with sensors detecting and responding to any exceptions that may occur.
Today solder mask is applied using an LDI machine with imaging times of an order of magnitude slower than imaging (2-3 minutes). Circuit imaging performs solder mask at multipl times faster than today soldermask imaging times.
